Bore roundness down to 0.03 microns can be achieved. Loadpoint's designs offer consistent rotational accuracy, high stiffness and load capacity in both radial and axial directions.

All Loadpoint spindles are dynamically balanced to a very high accuracy to ensure maximum performance and life.
The range of grinding spindles can be designed with through shaft coolant feed capability if required.
Standard motors are AC induction with a current maximum speed of 120,000 rpm and 1.2 Kw deliverable power.
Larger spindles can have to up 15 Kw of drive power. Spindles can also be supplied with DC brushless motors for speeds up to 60,000 rpm. Air Turbine driven spindles are also available for speeds up to 100,000 rpm.
